NEW TICA GRAND CHAMPION!!

October 26, 2009

Huge CONGRATULATIONS and THANKS!! to Simona at Elonadolls Ragdolls!

Simona took her beautiful Blue Bicolor girl 'Lionsroyale Blossom' out to the TICA show in Austria and she was awarded 4 Finals and is now a TICA GRAND Champion!!

This is just a huge accomplishment and we thank you Simona for this wonderful honor.  We are very, very proud of Blossom and are so happy that Simona took her back out to the show hall.

Blossom is the first TICA Grand Champion kitty born at Lions Royale Cattery!

We look forward to many more.

I have managed to put my back out so I'm up working on updating my site when I should be, and would like to be, sleeping.  You will find new photos on the kitten page. Not too many kittens available for pet right now. We have some show/breeder prospects being evaluated.

** Upcoming litter: Champion Feather (Blue lynx point mitted) is definitely pregnant by Buzzby (Chocolate lynx point mitted) and is due mid November. **  This should be good news for those anxiously awaiting babies.

My two beautiful girls Stella and Gwendolyn will be flying home to Europe on Tuesday. They will travel together but be at...

More Show News from Lions Royale!!

October 21, 2009

It's been a busy weekend for two of Lions Royale Ragdoll kitties!

Lionsroyale Penelope of Daisydolls in Hungary (www.daisydolls.hu)  was back in the show hall.  She is a seal colorpoint and did very well and was a great ambassador of the breed.  She only needs one more certificate for her championship in TICA!  Congratulations Hajni for your success with all your beautiful Ragdolls.  I will post photos from the show soon!

Lionsroyale Despina of Roncadello Ragdolls in Italy  (www.roncadelloragdolls.com ) visited her first show in Torino just weeks after arriving in Italy!  Despina is just a kitten of 5.5 months. She is seal torbie bicolor and she was awarded BEST Lynx Ragdoll kitten in a speical Ragdoll ring!  Another feature at this show was the All breed Bicolor competition.  Irina reports that the judge gathered the top 10 ALL BREED Bicolor cats in show and Despina was awarded 4th best out of all breeds!!  What an amazing feat for a young kitten!!  I am thrilled at this good report and look forward to more exciting news as Despina continues her show career in Italy.

Lots of show photos from both of these beautiful girls will be posted soon!...

Another new Champion from Lions Royale!

October 6, 2009

Congratulations to Anne of Cajun Ragdolls (www.cajunragdolls.com)  in Louisiana for her new CFA CHAMPION "Lionsroyale Cheyenne of Cajun Ragdolls!!".

Cheyenne can be found on our Show Cats page and of course on Annes website.  Check it out!  She's a beautiful Seal lynx point girl from Champion Lola and Buzzby.

Cheyenne will be hitting the TICA show halls this fall to work on her next championship.

Anne is organizing three shows to raise money for FIP research with Dr Pederson.  Watch for more news on those developments.  If you want to be a part of the fundraising effort why not bid on some great items in the SOCK FIP auctions!  It's ending Oct 12th so get your bid in today: http://www.fipauction.org/PageOne.html

A new Lionsroyale baby may head to live with Anne and family soon.  Sure to be spoiled, just as all of Annes Ragdolls are.

Lionsroyale Despina, a gorgeous Seal Torbie Bicolor, has flown to Italy to Roncadello Ragdolls.  She will be entering the World Show this month!!  Thanks Irina for adopting our beautiful girl and for getting her started so soon in the shows!  We wish you all the best and can hardly wait for news on Despinas...

Changes at Lions Royale

October 3, 2009

There has been quite a few topsy turvy events here at Lions Royale!

Some exciting news for us. After 15 years without taking time away for ourselves, my husband and I will be heading south for two weeks this winter.  From the end of January till the middle of February.

That would mean a lot of work for someone who will be house sitting for me!

So....in view of that, we've decided that it would be best to downsize quite a bit before our vacation.

It's been a tremendously difficult decision but we have allowed quite a few of our cherished Ragdolls to go to new homes.

Cadbury will be a beloved pet in Toronto.

Stella is flying to Europe

Lola is going to live with a dear friend in Quebec at Chiffondolls Cattery.

Rosie is available as a pet

Charlotte will be available as a pet in January

Since I will only have Buzzby for a stud cat right now, I will make Gwendolyn available to a small cattery as well.  She is Buzzby's daughter.  Gwen is a Lilac Lynx Point Mitted.  Nice big girl with the perfect personality.  Excellent mommy too.  Her first litter of 6 babies is amazing.

That will allow...

New TICA Champion and more

September 28, 2009

I received exciting news from Simona in Austria at Elonadolls.  Her site link is on the show cat page and the links page.  Her beautiful Blue Bicolor girl "Lionsroyale Blossom of Elonadolls' is a new TICA Champion!  She also received two finals and a BEST of BREED!  We are very proud of our beautiful gal and Simona for this achievement.  Laughing  This fabulous kitten is a third generation Champion from Lola and Aslan.

Lots of activity this week. Babies flying to new homes, kitten deliveries to make and preparations for a new litter coming.  Cookie is due soon with her first litter of babies which will most likely all be chocolate!  She's really big but then she was big before she got pregnant!!

Charlotte is also pregnant and I'm expecting late October babies in Chocolate and Lilac from her and Buzzby.

Several beautiful young adults are available for adoption now or in January after their babies are weaned and adopted:

Rosie - ready now.  I don't want to breed this beautiful big girl again although she's had phenomenal kittens for us and always has an easy time birthing and raising babies.

Charlotte will be ready in January for adoption into a quiet...

A couple new babies to announce

September 18, 2009

Clarabella is now the proud momma of 2 beautiful babies!  2 adorable boys.  This is her first litter and she's just the perfect momma.  One of the babies is a foster kitten from another momma.  Clara amazes me with her incredibly loving temperament and willingness to accept a strange baby without hesitation.  They were born on September 7th

Ziva had her wee babies this morning!!  Looks like her litter is just a small one comprising just 2 babies.  Mom and kittens are doing great and Ziva is very content.  I'm excited to see what color/pattern they will be.

Annies kittens are doing great. I have new photos to add to the slide show page. For some reason the link to the slide shows on the kitten page all go to the same slide show. The html code shows the correct path but it has a mind of it's own!  :)

LOTS of new photos of kittens!

September 12, 2009

I have tons of great photos of the kittens to post.  You may have noticed that the kittens page is a bit sparse.

Again, I'm having technical issues and I am actively searching for a new spot for the Lions Royale Website.  I have a couple ideas and I think you will enjoy it.  Biggest problem is I'll lose a lot of really neat features like the slide show page but I'll find something to replace that which I'm sure you will enjoy as much.

Here are some photos to whet your appetite for now!  Enjoy!

Crazy busy week

September 4, 2009

Another crazy week here.  I don't know where it went.  If you have emailed this week and haven't received an answer I will try to do that by the finish of the weekend. I'm not planning on going too far until Monday when I'll visit my mom in Cobourg with some of Stella and Lolas babies. It should be a hoot.  All at the nursing home are anxious to meet these kittens.   I'll have to do a head count when I leave!  haha

The babies are just so cute and outgoing.  Over the top friendly babies.

Gwendolyns little ones are eager to learn to eat. Some have tried the baby kibble  but I've been syringe feeding as well.  A rewarding but very messy endeavor!  They get impatient waiting their turn so my fingers and arms and TOES get nipped at.  Too funny.    Well, not so funny now that the little teeth are coming in!!

Annies babies have their eyes open.  Beautiful kittens. I'm so thrilled with them.  Photos soon.

I've added a Ragdoll Web Ring on the home page near the bottom. I've invited some breeders that I know or who have Ragdolls from me.  Other breeders who apply may...

A bit of an 'OOOOPS!!'

August 30, 2009

You will notice that things don't look quite the same on the site once you leave the home page.

I was adding a File Sharing page so you can all upload videos, pictures, updates etc whenever you wanted. However, my old page theme didn't support the File Sharing page.

I thought I was just changing the theme on the one page but it changed it throughout my site. I managed to back up the homepage before I changed anything so I got it changed back but the rest of the pages appear to be permanently altered.

I'll have to work with it. Please bear with me. I liked my old theme but this one is very royale looking so maybe I'll get used to it.

I miss the side menu, everything is now at the top.

You may see a few more changes as I try to fix the mess I made.

On a happy note, babies are doing great and getting cuter and cuter every day.  Lots of new pictures and slideshows to be added.

New Litter, New slideshows!

August 24, 2009

It's been a couple of very busy weeks.

Annie has had her babies! Our last litter from Horatio Caine, our fabulous Flame Bicolor male.  Horatio has now landed in Italy where his new mom reports that he came out of the carrier after the long flight purring and playing.  That's a relief to hear!  I know he will produce some fantastic babies in his new home.

Stella and Lolas babies are now 6 weeks and so much fun.  They are all very outgoing little Scamps.  I am excited to keep Lolas big Seal mitted male for showing and eventually breeding.  Lola is such a stunning cat with an incredible pedigree.  I look forward to producing more kittens from her lines through this beautiful, I mean handsome, boy.

Stellas babies are just dream kittens.  I would love a house full of kittens like this.  Temperament, beauty and quality.  wow.  I'm so pleased with her first litter.

Gwens babies are coming very well.  They are just precious.  Now three weeks old.  I've posted slideshows for all of these babies.

Enjoy!
